Beginner - Swimming Courses for Children
Basic Swimming Fundamentals...
What You Learn Young Stays for Life
Our beginner swimming courses are designed for children from around 4 years old who cannot yet stay afloat independently without swimming aids. With patience, empathy, and plenty of fun, we guide them through their first steps in the water.
Beginner I – The First Contact with Water
This course is aimed at children aged around 4 to 6 years who are not yet comfortable putting their face in the water. The focus is on building trust, overcoming fears, and playfully learning the first movements in the water using swimming aids.
Through gentle guidance, encouraging praise, and targeted exercises, we help even the shyest children discover water as a safe and exciting space for exploration – including diving, jumping, and floating.
Beginner II – First Swimming Movements Without Fear
For children aged around 4 to 8 years who already enjoy diving and feel confident in the water with swimming aids, we offer our advanced Beginner II courses. The goal is to learn the first swimming strokes and cover short distances without aids.
The course teaches basic movements in breaststroke, freestyle, and backstroke – always in a child-friendly and playful way. Through targeted movement stimuli and a variety of practice situations, children gain valuable motor experiences that form an important foundation for later swimming techniques and athletic development.
